Rachel

Tonight's sketch. About 2 hours.
It's supposed to be Rachel Weisz, so it might be a failure in the portraiture department. But at least it looks like a pretty ladyRachel_120207

Goat Man

Wow. It’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything.
Here’s a goat man I doodled while watching(listening to) TV the other night.

Death Eater Mask - Finished.

Disaster!

I couldn't get the paper mache out of the plaster mold!

so I had to rehydrate it and dig it out :(

Take 2:
I used plastic wrap to separate the paper mache from the plaster.
But it still broke while taking it out!!!

Turns out it looks pretty cool anyway:

Death Eater Mask - Casting

Put in box

Spray with acrylic (so the clay doesn't stick to the plaster)

Cover in plaster (I should have made more)

The completed cast

The discarded clay. Looks kinda cool, doesn't it?
