I decided to make a lady friend for the Sweater Goblin.
I’m modifying the original, trying to make it more feminine, while being the same species.
Still much to do.
This is my art blog. I will post school work and personal work here. Feel free to comment on what you see.

I’ve always been interested in visual effects, so I jumped at the chance to take a class in it at school. For my final I wanted to bring a CG character into the real world. So I took a video of the hall in my apartment and built a Maya scene to duplicate it to a certain extent. The whole thing turned out to be more complicated than I thought, but it was pretty fun.
This is the second final drawing for my background class. The interior of Baba Yaga’s hut.
The toning on this one turned out a lot more like I was going for than the exterior.

I like the drawing, but my toning technique for this project wasn’t nailed down yet. I may repaint this.
Here are some illustrations for ‘The Yellow Wallpaper’ by Charlotte Perkins Gilman.
“ I don’t even like to look out the windows even—there are so many of those creeping women, and they creep so fast.
I wonder if they all come out of that wallpaper as I did?”
I may return to this and clean up the composite, the shadows and whatnot, after finals.
